Barberries are highly nutritious - rich in Vitamins (very high in Vit.C), minerals, zinc and manganese, fibre and - antioxidants that can help protect against cellular damage. Also said to help treat diarrhea, help manage diabetes and promote sense of vigor and wellness.

To consume as tea add 1tsp to a mug of hot water and stir. Let sit a few minutes then drink as is or add honey, natural sweetener or milk/non dairy of choice of desired or make a gold brew by adding to juices or smoothies but be aware you might want to add a sweet fruit (s) to counter and balance the bitter/tartness. :) Unless you prefer that of course!
