Oak Bark was traditionally used to make a tea or added to herbal blends for conditions including colds and flus and inflammation, and is said to have cooling effects. It reputedly is high in B12, iron and potassium and acts as an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent.
To make tea add 1 heaped tsp (approx) to a mug of hot water and let steep several minutes to extract the goodness. Strain and enjoy!
